Shaikh.M.Ijaz-ul-Haque writes that in this day and age sensationalism has overtaken real news. Had the same happen to an ordinary person would NBC have forked out that amount of money.

Whilst I do neither agree nor condone such an action I am a realist and can see the reasoning behind it. Public loves that sort of thing and NBC know that even if a $million was paid their ratings will more than recoup their expenditure.

But then we are back to egg and chicken situation. Has the public fuelled this sort of sensationalism or has the public been manipulated by the media for its own gain.

No matter, what is said or done the fact remains that Paris Hilton is a $million richer not that she needs it.
